On the notion of selflessness.
Various points of view about the self, both in Buddhism and in Western philosophy will be discussed during the week-end.
We will explore the notion of self / non-self from the point of view of impermanence, of the five aggregates, of dependent origination, and from the point of view of personality.
In the hope to approach meditation on selflessness in a broader way.
Notes: This course is reserved for the study and practice of meditation and will take place partly in silence (as far as you are willing). It is intended for people who have already some knowledge of Buddhism and want to deepen their understanding of one of the most difficult point.
Periods of sitting meditation (personal) will alternate with teachings and discussions in small groups and periods of Q&R.
A sum of US $ 50.- or CHF 50.- will be requested to participate in this workshop.
This amount will be used to cover organizational and administrative costs.
This amount can be paid to Vimalakirti organization.
It does not include a donation for the teacher.
